Simply Vallarta and Mexico Today
As some of you already know, I have been chosen as one of sixteen bloggers from the US and Mexico to be a contributing writer for a new initiative called Mexico Today. Mexico Today is the culmination of a lot of hard work put forth by the Mexican Government/Private Sector; Marca Pais – Imagen de Mexico; and Ogilvy International, and its primary goal is to shed some much needed light on the beauty, the importance, the culture, and the safety of Mexico.
Last weekend I had the pleasure of being flown down to Oaxaca for the kick-off event, which was a total blast (you can read more about the event at the Journey Mexico Blog), and I’d like to say how proud I am to have been chosen to be a part of such a talented and inspired group of writers. You can learn more about the members of Mexico Today and read their work at the Mexico Today Facebook Page. You can also follow along in real time by searching #MexicoToday on Twitter.
Because I am being compensated for the work I do for Mexico Today, I am required to publish the full disclosure that you see italicized below. Anything you see published here on Simply Vallarta or on Twitter from the SimplyVallarta account containing #MexicoToday was written for the program and represents my, Chase Buckner, opinions alone.
Mexico Today, in association with Marca País – Imagen de México, is a joint public and private sector initiative designed to help promote Mexico as a global business partner and an unrivaled tourist destination. This program is designed to shine a light on the Mexico that its people experience every day.
